CAMPSBAYGLEN is beautiful little gem right on the edge of a green belt nature reserve (GLEN) with a beautiful mountain stream & waterfalls flowing through the garden. Very near the beach. We have stunning views onto the sea and glen. It's simple, rustic, clean, down to earth and Affordable! If you love nature yet want to be near all the action this is a great location. Very unusual for Camps Bay,- It's as if you are in the country but you are very near all the action and restaurants, waterfront and city. Big pool with a garden of many different parts for privacy. Hammocks at pool area and a cool leafy area at the river. Barbeques. The stunning little mountain stream and very beautiful views makes this an exceptional place. It's not expensive for Camps Bay. You can take the entire house or just a unit. There is a supermarket & restaurant about 5 mins walk away with a taxi point. We do recommend a car, we supply all linen and house-ware materials but not beach towels. Accommodation STUDIOS All Studios are fully self catering with own ablution / kitchenette facilities and own entrance with WIFI access. Studio A (THE MAIN HOUSE) is the biggest and it can Join onto Studio C (THE RIVERSIDE) A door in the kitchen can be opened to join the two studios. There is DSTV in Studio A and B. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge for an extra couple and we don't mind adding an extra bed in one of the rooms. Sleeps 4-6 or 7 people. It is has a very charming nature feel and you can see the sea and the glen. Ideal for couples. The Blinkwater is a spacious, luxurious and modern upmarket villa located in Cape Town's trendiest suburb, situated a few minutes walk from the main beach of Camps Bay, restaurants and nightspots of the strip. This architect-designed house has amazing views of the bay, Lion's Head and Table Mountain, nestled in the tranquil setting of a quiet greenbelt - the best of all worlds. The expansive entertainment area flows onto the deck with large pool. The modern kitchen is equipped with luxury appliances including a built-in Siemens coffee machine for guests' enjoyment. The villa has 4 double bedrooms sleeping 8 guests. All rooms are en-suite with individual satellite television and uncapped WiFi Internet. All rooms lead to outdoors with indigenously planted terraces. Special attention to superb quality bedlinen and block-out blinds ensures a luxurious and comfortable stay. Secure garage parking for 4 cars with direct access to villa. Selected areas feature underfloor heating and airconditioning. The villa is serviced daily and a private chef can be arranged on request. NOTES ON ACCOMMODATION The Blinkwater Villa's extended living area and kitchen has under-tile heating. An air conditioning heating/cooling unit is fitted in the open plan kitchen flowing onto the lounge. The downstairs bedrooms have under-tile heating and the second level bedrooms are both fitted with air conditioning heating/cooling units. The villa is serviced 6 days per week. The Blinkwater has a strict no smoking policy, therefor smoking is not allowed in the villa's covered living areas and rooms but smoking is permitted on the expansive exterior patios. The villa is suitable for families with children but the uncovered pool and open staircases require supervision for young children. No pets are allowed in the villa. ACCESSIBILITY Access to The Blinkwater is via stairs from both the road and the garage. The road access has 8 stairs. Assistance with entry and exit through both these entries can be arranged. Two of the four bedrooms are situated on the ground level, both with direct access to the kitchen, living areas and deck. Both these rooms have large en-suite bathrooms within the rooms. Showers are extra large with rain-dance heads and separate handheld showers. OUTSIDE The Blinkwater has a large deck with 10 x 3m private pool, overlooking the mountains and bay. Open flow from the living and areas onto the deck ensures the perfect entertainment space. The extensive deck is furnished with an 8-seater dining table and relaxing sun loungers from where to enjoy the views. A comfortable lounge suite on the deck offers a superb setting from where to unwind, relax with sundowners and enjoy the setting sun. A gas barbecue is available for outside cooking. The natural bamboo fence surrounding the deck ensures views blend with the green milieu. The main bedroom has an outside table and chair seating from where to enjoy breakfast or simply take in the view over Lion's Head and the bay. From the second bedroom, step out onto a wooden deck with bench seating next to a living green wall of indigenous plants. The second floor bedrooms are both linked to a balcony bordering the fynbos roof garden. Table and chair seating allows guests to enjoy the outdoors while taking in the spectacular views. COAST/BEACH Camps Bay beach is safe, clean and family friendly. The 600m stretch of beach has Blue Flag status and offers breathtaking views of Lion's Head and the Twelve Apostles. It transcends all other beaches for its beauty, accessibility, and magnificent setting. The beach has fine white sand and is flanked by a stretch of lawn on the eastern side, a perfect sunbathing venue. The ocean is quite calm and good for swimming. There are many beachfront cafes and umbrellas and loungers are available to rent. THE BLINKWATER EXPERIENCE The Blinkwater Villa is managed by Chris Willemse and Alma Horn. Chris stays on the property and is available 24/7 for guest requirements. Upon arrival, Chris or Alma will be at the villa to welcome guests. Fresh flowers, where possible picked from the garden, are placed in all rooms. A large bowl of fresh fruit and confectionery is provided for guests. The built-in Siemens coffee machine is filled with coffee beans and guests are provided with glass holders filled with extra beans, Rooibos tea, Ceylon tea, instant coffee and brown sugar. Milk, fresh bread, butter and jam will be in the fridge. The check-in time for the villa will be at or after 14h00 on the occupation date and the checkout time will be at or before 10h00 on the termination date. After hours check-ins incur an additional charge as per the reservation confirmation. Guests are asked to go through the villa and report any dissatisfaction within the first 24 hours. A binder with information about the house and updated information about the area is left on the kitchen counter. A Guest Registration form must be filled in together with a disclaimer and signed. Guests need to provide a contact number. A credit card must be available for the refundable breakage and security deposit. The guests are introduced to the housekeeping staff members that will be at their service from 09h00 till 15h30 Monday to Saturday, excluding Public Holidays and Sundays. The house is serviced from 09h00 to 11h00 and the washing will be returned in the afternoon or the next day depending on the weather. Special requests for hand washing and ironing can be discussed with the housekeeping. The Blinkwater Villa has an environmental awareness policy, which is dedicated to environmental awareness, green technology and energy conservation. A few basic carbon footprint reductions measures are put in place to contribute towards helping the environment. Guests are encouraged to do their part. Energy saving lighting is used where possible. Guests are requested to turn off unnecessary lights, the air conditioner and underfloor heating when you leave a room or the villa. Recycling is done daily for items such as paper and cardboard, metal, glass and plastics. A container is provided for all recycling items. Guests are advised to treat the usage of water, gas and electricity as the scarce resources that they are and encouraged to re-use towels. A notice is placed in the bedrooms asking guests to place the towels on the rails if they will be re-used to assist the environment. Towels and linen are otherwise changed every third day. As all of the bedrooms have showers, this allows and automatically encourages guests to save water as opposed to having a bath. The use of public transport, where necessary, is advised.

A beautifully appointed garden self-catering 2 bedroom apartment on Clifton Steps. Apartment in porcelain, stone and high gloss cabinetry, this 2 bed, 2 bath gem provides spacious accommodation in the open plan living room flowing to private, decked courtyard. The apartment consists of a main bedroom with queen sized double bed and en-suite toilet with shower and bath. The second bedroom has two single beds, and has a separate shower and toilet. Apartment is tastefully furnished, with percale linen in the bedrooms. Beach and bath towels are provided.There is a large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room area which has a partial sea view. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including a dish washer, microwave, convection oven and a built in stove and a large fridge freezer.There is a large flat screen LCD TV with DSTV. A small HiFi which is IPod compatible and free Wi-Fi is available. The outdoor areas consist of a private decked courtyard with outdoor furniture and a Weber braai. There is a small viewing deck out back also with partial sea view and view of Lion's Head. There is no washing machine or tumble dryer but a laundry service can be provided on request.
